The internet has been a crucial part in the development of many important features we live with today. From medical to personal living advancements we have improved the way we live. Unfortunately, everything comes at a cost. With this broad usage of the web people haven't really used the web for the best purposes. The reason for that is because as their is always good, evil always follows. People through the web due to its flexibility in the users have been able to communicate and upload very inhumane content like hate groups and illegal distributions of both products and people. As Boron explained in his book theirs a dark side to the web and even though we all can get that same access as those involved in these crimes we can't just openly be entered into their realm.
The web has its advantages and disadvantages and one main advantage is that we can all look for what we are searching in a matter of seconds. Due to the fact that all illegal and inhumane services, if caught, can have serious penalties the words that are in that specific web page or group are not always searchable. Everything worth hiding is encrypted due to the fact that organizations like the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) have and continue to track visible hate groups.
Web has enabled us to connect in a way we have never been connected before but people just don't seem to understand the importance of it and why it was created in the first. Just like Baron stated in his book there were roughly 220 million internet users in the US in 2008 while their was 298 million users in China and growing at a 30 million rate a year. The users in the web keep duplicating and as users find it useful to use others just can't keep their illegal exposure to content and discriminating groups from making the headlines in young teenagers that have yet to learn good from bad.
The internet world just like in today's world might not change as much. Just like we have human police surrounding us and protecting us as much as they are deemed possible so its the same in the web. We might not be able to keep it 100% pure but the evil that lies in the web will be without a doubt controlled as much as possible.
